When Will the World Recognize It Leaders?

The whole world is waiting for a leader who can bring peace, prosperity, and happiness to the entire global society, a leader who is completely free of any kind of cheating exploitative mentality, a leader who has no desire in his heart other than the welfare of living beings. That leader has already come. But the problem is that people are so blind that they do not recognize him. That leader is His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Even though Srila Prabhupada has departed from this world, he is being purely represented by those who are strictly following him. This makes his loyal followers the factual current leaders on this planet. We pray that the world will wake up and take full guidance from the Prabhupadanugas, those who are strictly following the path chalked out by His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada.

Testimonial from Trivikram Das

"Thought for the Day" by His Grace Sankarshan Das Adhikari is truly an inspiring and guiding light in my life. Initially, I subscribed to the "Thought for the Day" in a very casual manner. Little did I know that these thoughts which are nothing but 'Nectar drops' would change my life forever. This email is a beacon of light for me. The content is like containing a mind of its own whereby it exactly points to the problems that I am facing and thinking about and gives me the solution to those.

These emails have not only solved my various problems of life, but also have enriched my life that it is not filled with only happiness. I am very much influenced by Sankarshan Prabhu's thoughts and words so much so that I have not only started following him, but also accepted him as my spiritual master.

I would strongly recommend anyone and everyone to subscribe to these letters. One has only to gain immensely from this and nothing to lose. I invite everyone to join and experiment reading these thoughts.

yours sincerely,

Trivikram Das

Question: What Is a Brahmacari?

My dear Srila Gurudeva and Guru Mataji.
Please accept my humble obeisances.
All Glories to Srila Prabhupada!

What is brahmacari?

My understanding of what it means to be a brahmacari:

It is student position. You should get training spiritual and material, practical and theoretical. Traditionally for 20 years. After 20 years you are qualified to start a family and maintain it from training what you got. Otherwise to remain brahmacari and then you start to prepare for sannyasa.

What changes in brahmacari`s life from before finishing 20 years course of training and after 20 years? Please correct my understanding if needed.

Your eternal servant,
V.K.

Answer: Celibate Student Totally Dedicated to His Guru

A brahmacari is a celibate student who has no other duty except to serve his spiritual master.

A brahmacari has three options for his future. He can get married. He can take sannyasa. Or he can stay brahmacari. But these are only external considerations. His is only real business is to be a completely sold out servant of his spiritual master. All he has to do is focus 100% on this and then Krishna will take care of everything else positioning him always in the best circumstances for his steady spiritual progress.

After 20 years of properly accepted brahmacari training the brahmacari will have learned how to totally focus his consciousness on always pleasing his spiritual master with his every thought, word, and deed in all times, places, and circumstances. The only difference between before 20 years and after 20 years of training is that the brahmacari will be more Krishna conscious.

Sankarshan Das Adhikari
