Sri Vrindavana Dhama Farwell

Today we are leaving Krishna's most holy abode, Sri Vrindavana Dhama, for preaching in Pune (India), Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Austin (USA), Kansas City (USA), London, Mauritius, South Africa, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia, Los Angeles (USA), Romania, Mumbai (India), and New Delhi (India) before returning to this holiest of all abodes on 26 October of this year. Actually we never leave Vrindavan because we always carry this sacred land of Krishna within our hearts. As usual it has been a most uplifting and purifying experience to be in this place where Lord Sri Krishna's most intimate transcendental pastimes are going on eternally. We eagerly await our return to this sacred land and to see again Sarasvati, the sweet peaceful cow, who lives just outside of our door.

Testimonials From Our Satisfied Subscribers

I am a student of Srila Gurudeva for the last five Years and I really feel very lucky and blessed. I have nothing to write about this course except that is just excellent and heart-touching and that Gurudeva's answers are just to the point. Frankly speaking, I just go mad if for some reason Thought for the Day is not uploaded because my day starts by reading Thought for the Day.

My obeisances (pranams) to this great soul.

Question: What Prompts Man to Sin?

My Beloved master,
Hare Krishna!
Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Although the majority of the world's population are not aware of the results of sin, i.e. intense suffering in dreadful hells, the minority who do have a knowledge of the results of sin also commit sin. So what prompts or influences humans to sin?

Yours Devotedly,
Avinash G.

Answer: He's Impelled by the Three Modes of Material Nature.

Because the people are being completely manipulated at every minute the by three modes of material nature, being impelled by these modes they continue to engage in activities that are detrimental for their well-being.
