On 29 October 2015 here in Vrindavana Gurumata, my disciples, and I tasted the most unbelievably sweet transcendental bliss. We took two boats and crossed the River Yamuna to have kirtan and Srimad Bhagavatam class followed by a super ecstatic bath in this most sacred of all rivers. The kirtan soared to such a divine nectarean level that it became a like a magnet attracting everyone in the vicinity to join. Then we dove deeply into sublime mellows of Srimad Bhagavatam philosophy to understand the absolute necessity of always pleasing our spiritual master. The necessity of pleasing the spiritual master is elaborated upon by Srila Prabhupada in his purport to Srimad Bhagavatam 1.13.10 as follows: "To go to some holy place of pilgrimage does not mean only to take a bath in the Ganges or Yamuna or to visit the temples situated in those places. There is ever-increasing disunity and fragmentation taking place all over the world in all spheres of human activity. The current slate of leaders in all categories are completely incompetent to do anything to bring about the desired world unity. The League of Nations was a complete failure, and the United Nations is also a complete failure. The internet is everywhere, but unless one has the means of connecting with it one cannot reap its benefit. Similarly Krishna is everywhere, but unless one knows how to connect with Him one remains in illusion, misery and confusion. This art or science of connecting with Krishna is called Krishna consciousness. Just as Krishna is illuminated, if we are connected with Krishna, simply by His touch we are also illuminated. And if we fall away from Krishna, our spiritual power and illumination are finished. Yoga means connecting or linking with Krishna, the original source of all existence. And viyoga means disconnection. The problem with our present day human society is that we are all viyogis when we should instead all be yogis. To become a yogi, to connect with Krishna, is not at all difficult. One simply has to follow this instruction of Lord Krishna from the Bhagavad-gita and his life will become perfect: man-manā bhava mad-bhakto mad-yājī māṁ namaskuru mām evaiṣyasi yuktvaivam ātmāna

Srila Prabhupada writes in his purport to Srimad Bhagavatam 3.1.24 as follows: "There are still many devotees of the Lord lingering there in ecstasy in search of Krishna and His childhood associates, the gopis. It is not that such devotees meet Krishna face to face in that tract of land, but a devotee's eagerly searching after Krishna is as good as his seeing Him personally. How this is so cannot be explained, but it is factually realized by those who are pure devotees of the Lord. Philosophically, one can understand that Lord Krishna and His remembrance are on the absolute plane and that the very idea of searching for Him at Vrindavana in pure God consciousness gives more pleasure to the devotee than seeing Him face to face. Here in New Delhi I am engaged in a whirlwind preaching tour, going here and there to various temples and preaching centers throughout the local vicinity. We are often caught up in immense tortuous traffic jams, which force us to take a very long time to travel a short distance. The day we arrived it took us longer to get to the temple from the airport than it did to fly to Delhi all the way from south India. The material atmosphere is very dense here in this city of ten million with the world's worst air pollution. Everywhere we see people hopelessly, blinding trying to squeeze some happiness out of a life of material sense gratification, even though there is no real happiness to be found here. It is quite insane indeed and makes you very sad. But it is wonderful to see how more and more people here are getting into Krishna consciousness. My song "The Peace Formula" has been getting attention in the media. Although a recent reviewer from Music Dish really loves my song, he describes our peace formula as "somewhat crazy."
