Krishna's Devotee Has Nothing to Fear

Image
Just consider that if your most intimate well-wishing friend is the most wealthy, compassionate, and powerful person in all of extistence, you would never have to be in any anxiety about anything in any situation. This is actually the position of all living beings because Lord Sri confirms in the Bhagavad-gita 5.29, "suhridam sarva-bhutanam--I am the most intimate well-wishing friend of all living beings." So the only reason that anyone finds themself to be in difficutly or anxiety is that they are forgetting that Krishna is their best friend. This is compared to a child who is the son of multi-billionaire, who runs away from home and is living as a pauper on the street. Sankarshan Das Adhikari. There is No Reason to Live Like This.... When Krishna is Your Best Friend. Answers According to the Vedic Wisdom Question: Will I Be Succesful? Please accept my humble obeisances unto your lotus feet. Krishna is the Origin of Everything

Lord Brahma has clearly stated as follows in the Brahma-samhita, Chapter 5, Text 1: īśvaraḥ paramaḥ kṛṣṇaḥ sac-cid-ānanda-vigrahaḥ anādir ādir govindaḥ sarva-kāraṇa-kāraṇam Here is the translation and purport for this verse by Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Thakur, the spiritual master of our beloved Srila Prabhupada: "Kṛṣṇa who is known as Govinda is the Supreme Godhead. He has an eternal blissful spiritual body. He is the origin of all. He has no other origin and He is the prime cause of all causes." PURPORT "Kṛṣṇa is the exalted Supreme entity having His eternal name, eternal form, eternal attribution and eternal pastimes. The very name "Kṛṣṇa" implies His love-attracting designation, expressing by His eternal nomenclature the acme of entity. His eternal beautiful heavenly blue-tinged body glowing with the intensity of ever-existing knowledge has a flute in both His hands. As His inconceivable spiritual energy is all-extending, still He maintains His all-cha

Hare Krsna Prabhu, Prabhu, I have two questions: 1. It is said that Krishna is fully self sufficient. So, the question is, does Krsna need the love of Radha Rani, Mother Yasoda, other gopas/gopis, and other living entities. Does He need their love? 2. If Krishna is self sufficient and doesn't need anything, then why did He created so many living entities. If He wanted to enjoy, he could've enjoyed within Himself. Here's a Letter I Wrote to the US President

Image
Here is a letter that I wrote on 15 April 2023 to the president of the United States of America: "Dear Mr. President, Last night I had a dream in which I was going to fly to Washington to have a meeting with you to share the knowledge I have received from my spiritual master, HIs Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the Founder-Acharya of the Hare Krsihna Movement, how the United States can be solidly situated as the world leader. He gave us this instruction in 1973: "You American nation, you're favored nation, that I am always speaking. You should utilize the favor of God and be yourself perfect, and be leader of the whole world." So now I would like to personally meet with you to explain to you in detail how the United States of American can utilize the special favor it has received from God and deliver the whole world from chaos. So kindly let me know when I can come and meet with you. Hoping this meets you well. Your ever well-wisher, Sankarshan D

People Ask "Why Go to the Temple?"

Image
Srila Prabhupada taught us the following in a Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam lecture on October 5, 1976 in Vrindavan: "So this is exactly according to the śāstra. And the argument that 'God is everywhere. Why you should go to the temple?' And what is this nonsense? If God is everywhere, why not in the temple? But this is their argument, nonsense argument. God is everywhere, but not in the temple. This is their argument. So we do not care. Nobody cares. So many agitators came and gone, but the Vedic process will go on. 'Let the dogs bark; the caravan will pass.' There is no difficulty. So on the whole, this is Vedic civilization, that the vigraha of the Supreme Personality of Godhead accepted as He is present. We should take it that Kṛṣṇa... Actually, this is the fact. As you have read in the Caitanya-caritāmṛta, there was the Sākṣi-gopāla history, and the two brāhmaṇas, they promised before the Deity, and later on there was misunderstanding, and the Deity from Vṛndāvana went t

Corrected Version of "One Who Speaks Against Dīkṣā Guru's Instructions is a Demon"

Srila Prabhupada taught us that if someone, a śikṣā-guru, gives us instructions against the insructtions we have received from our spiritual master, our dīkṣā-guru, he is not a śikṣā-guru, he's a demon, and we should not follow him. In the absence of our spiritual master, our dīkṣā-guru,we take instruction from so many devotees, śikṣā-gurus, who help us on our path of awakening our dormant Krishna consciousness. But if one of them instructs something against the instructions we have received from our spiritual master, our dīkṣā-guru, such a so-called śikṣā-guru, is not really a śikṣā-guru. He is demon, and we should not take instructions from him. Here is exactly what Srila Prabhupada said in this connection: "Then so śikṣā and dīkṣā-guru... A śikṣā-guru who instructs against the instruction of spiritual..., he is not a śikṣā-guru. He is a demon. Śikṣā-guru, dīkṣā-guru means... Sometimes a dīkṣā-guru is not present always. Therefore one can take learning, instruction, from

Where is Krishna, Where is Krishna, Where is Krishna?

Even though the six goswamis of Vrindavan were pure devotees of Krishna qualified to see Him face-to-face, eye-to-eye at every moment, their mood was not, "I have seen Krishna." There mood was, "Where is Krishna, where is Krishna, where is Krishna?" as so nicely explaned in this verse by Śrīnivāsa Ācārya. he rādhe vraja-devike ca lalite he nanda-sūno kutaḥ śrī-govardhana-kalpa-pādapa-tale kālindī-vane kutaḥ ghoṣantāv iti sarvato vraja-pure khedair mahā-vihvalau vande rūpa-sanātanau raghu-yugau śrī jīva-gopālakau "I offer my respectful obeisances to the Six Gosvāmīs, namely Śrī Rūpa Gosvāmī, Śrī Sanātana Gosvāmī, Śrī Raghunātha Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmī, Śrī Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī, Śrī Jīva Gosvāmī and Śrī Gopāla Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmī, who were chanting very loudly everywhere in Vṛndāvana, shouting, 'Queen of Vṛndāvana, Rādhārāṇī! Do You Know the Sanskrit Word for Meat?

The Sanskrit for meat is māṁsa. Mām means "me," and sa means "he." I am killing this animal; I am eating him. And in my next lifetime he'll kill me and eat me. In God We Trust

Image
The currency in the United States of America says, "In God We Trust." But they don't know who is God. If you don't know someone how can you trust that person? Therefore to come to the actual position of trusting in God they need to know that Krishna is God. This is the mission of our Krishna consciousness movement. We want to enlighten everyone with the proper understandingf of who is God. We fully trust in God. Srila Prabhupada explains as follows in his puport to Srimad Bhagavatam, Tenth Canto, Chapter 13. Verse 53: "One should understand that no one is independent, for everything is part and parcel of Kṛṣṇa and is acting and moving by the supreme desire of Kṛṣṇa. This understanding, this consciousness, is Kṛṣṇa consciousness." Thus in every situation we know Krishna is behind the scenes arranging everything perfectly for us to become engaged in our original pure loving relationship with Him. Sankarshan Das Adhikari.
