The Gopis' Separation from Krishna Was Quite Different from Our Separation from Krishna
On 11 October 2022 in Sri Mayapur Dhama I was asked to speak to the Russian devotees on the portion of the Srimad Bhagavatam that describes the intense anguish experienced by the gopis when Krishna left Vrindavan. Their anguish was so intense that they froze like statues as they witnessed His departure as He was being driven to Mathura on a chariot by Akrura. In His absence they kept Him firmly situated in their hearts by always remembering their pastimes with Him.
After mentioning this pastime I preached about how foolish we were to give up our intimate association of Krishna by forgetting Him and trying to enjoy separately from Him as an imitation Krishnas here in this nightmarish material existence. I then explained what we can do right now to get back to our original positions as His intimate loving associates in His transcendental pastimes in the spiritual world.

My Dear Sarita,
Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Yes. It is absolutely true. Spiritual world means there is no work. There is simply Änanda, joyfulness. But we are so foolish we prefer to stay here and suffer. It's time we wake up and become a little intelligent.
I hope this meets you in the best of health.

Question: No Work in the Spiritual World?
Srila Prabhupada had said that material world means working. We have to work in the material world. And he said that spiritual world means no work. We don't have to work in the spiritual world, that there is simply Änanda. Is this true?
