The bona fide spiritual master never falls down into material sense gratification because he is solidly situated on the spiritual platform. Every living being is actually spiritual, but most people don’t realize this. The spiritual master is a person who has fully realized his spiritual nature and thus engages himself 100% in the service of Lord Sri Krishna.
Initiation is a vow of fully surrendering oneself unto the spiritual master accepting his instructions as one’s very life and soul for all of eternity without any deviation.
Krishna consciousness means to be fully absorbed in remembering and serving Lord Sri Krishna with love in all times, places, and circumstances with all of one’s thoughts, words, and deeds for all of eternity. It is the perfection of existence in which one is reinstated in his actual original consciousness. In other words, it is not an artificial imposition of the mind. It is the re-awakening of one’s original, natural energy.
