Nothing More Ecstatic than Hare Krishna Kirtan
In the material world everyone is trying to enjoy. Unfortunately they do not know how to enjoy. Thus they live frustrated, miserable lives until they finally die. And then because they committed so many sinful activities in a life based on material sense gratification they descend to the animal kingdom in their next births. How sad and pathetic can you get? If they could only somehow or other taste the the topmost pleasure of Hare Krishna kirtan, their lives would be completely changed. This is why our goal is to induce the entire world to chant Hare Krishna. We are praying to Krishna that very soon we can attract the entire world to dive deep, deep, deep, into the sublime pleasure of chanting:
Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna, Krishna, Hare Hare
Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare
May that day come soon. Lord Sri Krishna, please bless us that that day may come very soon.

In a recent Srimad Bhagavatam class, the preacher said that we have not come from Goloka Vrindavana. This is troubling me too much that we have not come from Krishna's abode because in ISKCON we have always been told of having associated with Krishna in the beginning. And now here is something totally contradictory. I'm sure the speaker is not wrong, but I am unable to digest, may be missing some details. Please enlighten me, Maharaja.

In this regard, Srila Prabhupada writes in his purport to Srimad Bhagavatam, Canto 4, Chapter 28, Text 54 as follows:
"The original home of the living entity and the Supreme Personality of Godhead is the spiritual world. In the spiritual world both the Lord and the living entities live together very peacefully. Since the living entity remains engaged in the service of the Lord, they both share a blissful life in the spiritual world. However, when the living entity wants to enjoy himself, he falls down into the material world. Even while he is in that position, the Lord remains with him as the Supersoul, his intimate friend. Because of his forgetfulness, the living entity does not know that the Supreme Lord is accompanying him as the Supersoul. In this way the living entity remains conditioned in each and every millennium. Although the Lord follows him as a friend, the living entity, because of forgetful material existence, does not recognize Him."
Sometimes devotees who are not very learned in Srila Prabhupada’s teachings will come up by mental speculation with a different explanation of the origin of the living beings. Such devotees should not be allowed to give lectures because they simply cause confusion in the minds of the devotees, as you are now experiencing.
All living beings have fallen either from Goloka Vrindavan or one of the Vaikuntha planets due to a misuse of their free will, i.e. they became envious of the Lord’s supreme position wanting to enjoy it for themselves. But by this process of Krishna consciousness they will become cured of this envious mentality and reinstated in their original position either in Goloka Vrindavan or on one the Vaikuntha planets in the spiritual world.
So the speaker was wrong because he did not preach according to Srila Prabhupada’s books.
