You Must Have a Guru

Lord Krishna teaches us that we must have a guru if we are to be His devotee. He states that unless we are the devotee of His devotee we are not His devotee. This is a very practical and wonderful instruction. With our present covered senses we cannot directly see and hear Krishna, even though He is present everywhere. But we are able to see and hear the bona fide spiritual master. In this way Krishna and Guru give us the chance to get the training we need to get beyond our material senses into the realm of pure devotional service.

Question: Fourth Type of Devotee?

Please accept my humble obeisances,
All Glories to all Vaisnavas,

Many respects and thanks for classes and answers,

In one of audio lectures at www.sda-archives.com I heard about four types of devotees, of which three are in goodness, passion and ignorance, but I do not know the fourth type of devotee. Please tell about fourth type of devotee.

Thanks again, I am receiving your daily emails and sharing with many contacts too,

Your insignificant servant,
Bhakta Sunil

Answer: The Pure Devotee

The fourth type of devotee is he who is situated completely beyond the three modes of material nature, the pure devotee.
