World Situation Will Deteriorate More and More

In London on July 9, 1973 in a room conversation with sculptor David Wynne Srila Prabhupada made this prediction:

"At the present moment, the world situation is not very good. And it will deteriorate more and more if they do not take to Krishna consciousness or God consciousness."

And we can see how truly prophetic are his worlds. In the last 43 years since Srila Prabhupada made this prediction the world society has not yet adopted Krishna consciousness as their guiding principle in life and the world situation has indeed shockingly deteriorated. And it will continue to get worse and worse until the people wise up and take to Krishna consciousness as their only hope for genuine happiness. When that golden day comes this world will become like a paradise. So may that day come soon. May that day come soon!

Answer: Serve Those Who Have the Power to Convince

If you have no power to convince others, you should assist those who do have the power to convince others. In this way you will get the same benefit that they receive of being recognized by Lord Caitanya for pushing forward His most glorious sankirtana movement. The easiest and most effective way of doing this is to distribute Srila Prabhupada's books to everyone that you meet. In this way you will be directly assisting Srila Prabhupada in his world deliverance mission.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
