Speculators Cannot Give You Knowledge

In this material world what is called knowledge is actually nothing but sophisticated mental speculation, fancy nescience. That's why every few years the science text books have to be rewritten, to keep up with the current, most popular trends in mental speculation. This is not how we gain actual knowledge. If you want to know things as they are, you must approach that person who is the origin of reality itself, namely Lore Sri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead because it is only from Krishna or His authorized representative that you can gain actual knowledge and become liberated from ignorance and suffering.

The best way to deal with anger is to dedicate your whole life for making the world Krishna conscious and to tolerate whatever difficulties you personally experience along the way as simply another part of your purification.

In other words, anyone who is not angry to see how badly the world society is being misled right now is a blind fool. We should be sad and angry to see how badly the animals and human beings are being exploited at the present time. So all of our anger should be channeled into Lord Caitanya’s movement for the respiritualization of the entire world society. We should not be angered by whatever happens to us, seeing that whatever difficulties we personally experience are a minimization, by Krishna's special mercy, of what we deserve according to our past karma. But we should be boiling with anger to see how much the poor illusioned souls are being held captive in the cycle of birth and death and thus fully dedicate our lives for saving them by enlightening them in science of Krishna consciousness.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
