Krishna, the Life and Soul of the Brijabasis
Srila Prabhupada wonderfully describes in his purport to Srimad Bhagavatam 3.2.28 how Krishna was the life and soul of the inhabitants of Vrindavana, the Brijabasis:
"Child Krishna did not belong only to His parents, Nanda and Yasoda; He was the son of all the elderly inhabitants of Vrindavana and the friend of all contemporary boys and girls. Everyone loved Krishna. He was the life and soul of everyone, including the animals, the cows and the calves."
The more that we absorb ourselves in such Krishna consciousness by always hearing about, talking about, remembering, praying to, and serving Lord Sri Krishna, the less we will feel the pinches of the material nature. Therefore we should dive deeply into the sweet mellows of Krishna consciousness at every minute. In this way, if we diligently practice Krishna bhakti, for us the material world will become as good as the spiritual world.

Question: Consciousness a Link Between Soul and Mind?
Can we call consciousness a connecting link between our soul and our mind?Golok Das
Answer: Krishna Consciousness, Original Pure State of Mind Mind
The material mind is a covering of the pure Krishna consciousness of the soul. This is why we must engage the mind in chanting Hare Krishna. In this way the material mind is transcendentalized and reverse engineered back into the original pure Krishna conscious mind.Sankarshan Das Adhikari
