Step on the Head of Anxiety
The most liberating thing in the world is when we understand what is the root cause of all of our anxieties. We foolishly tend to consider the external situations to be the cause of our anxiety: "I'm not making enough money," "People don't treat me properly," "My health is no good," etc. But nothing could be further from the truth. The actual cause of all our miseries is simply our lack of Krishna consciousness. When anxiety attacks all we have to take is take complete shelter of Krishna and then the anxiety will immediately disappear. So what appears to be anxiety is actually the greatest blessing because it is a powerful impetus for us to take complete shelter of Krishna. This is why Queen Kunti prayed that she can be blessed with more and more anxiety. She realized that more anxiety means more Krishna consciousness. So the next time you have an anxiety attack step on the head of your anxiety by using it to enhance your Krishna consciousness and thus increase your transcendental bliss.

"In this Age of Kali there is no other means, no other means, no other means for self-realization than chanting the holy name, chanting the holy name, chanting the holy name of Lord Hari.”
Kindly note that here it is specifically stated, "harer nama," that one should focus on Krishna’s name. The injunction does not state, "harer rupa," to meditate on the form of the Lord, or "harer lila," to meditate on the pastimes of the Lord. The insider’s secret in this connection is that within the sound of Krishna’s name all His forms, pastimes, and devotees are present. Therefore one who dives deeply into Krishna’s name automatically relishes all His forms, pastimes, and devotees.

Question: Focus Only on Krishna's Name While Chanting?
While chanting should we only focus on hearing the sound of Krishna's name? Or if we occasionally think of the deity, would it become an offense?Kumara G.
Answer: Everything is There in Krishna's Name
While absorbing the mind in the sound of Krishna’s name one may sometimes think of the deity of Krishna, the pastimes of Krishna, the teachings of Krishna, the devotees of Krishna, etc. Even though these are nice transcendental thoughts one should bring his mind back to the sound of Krishna’s name because in the age of Kali it is through the sound of Krishna’s name that we get the strongest connection with Him. The Vedic injunction is:harer nāma harer nāma
harer nāmaiva kevalam
kalau nāsty eva nāsty eva
nāsty eva gatir anyathā
