The World Civilization is Disintegrating

The famous Irish poet, W.B. Yeats has very rightly written:

Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world

This is indeed the situation of our present day rapidly deteriorating global civilization. The only solution is this Krishna consciousness movement. This is why we must now preach boldly all over the world to prevent our global civilization from degrading into total barbarianism.

Today, a colleague struggling with work related issue gave opportunity to speak about karmic reaction and supersoul. She had some prasadam sweet offered last month.

I brought her to my desk that had Bhagavad Gita As It Is.

She read versus - 15.7, 10.20, 2.20 and 3.13.

It resonated with her and I will get a blessed copy of Gita for her from altar - she is very excited about it and agreed to give donation. Bhagavad Gita teachings gave her comfort and she said it made her day. Also asked where our centre is, I gave her Govindas flyer.

Another colleague walked by my desk and he is Christian. He was reluctant to accept as not into reading and has not read Bible even. With your mercy, he took in his hands, flipped the pages and I showed him pictures which has cycle of ageing. He said he wants to become a dog in next life as they get preferential treatment in Canada - I said better than that is possible and Bhagavad Gita shows that paths.

The point that struck with him was it's possible to choose what life we want. He said he will think about it. Also told him that keeping the book is spiritual value and it's ok if he doesn't read.

Thank you again from bottom of my heart Gurudev as you made me a mere instrument in executing Srila Prabhupada's desire.

The lady colleague agreeing to get Gita made my day.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me.
