Srila Prabhupada describes in The Teachings of Lord Caianya that the devotee feels exclusively dependent on the mercy of the Lord. This means that even if he is in the most trying and difficult situation he has nothing to fear because he knows that whatever Krishna does is alright.

Even a mundane songwriter from hippie era in Austin, Texas, Roky Erickson, wrote "Chaos all around me, but the song that keeps me sane." Roky did not know it, but that song is the Hare Krishna kirtan.

So whenever you are in great anxiety just chant Hare Krishna. Even if you are in the midst of a devastating Kali yuga storm, if you remember Krishna you will be solidly situated in the calm, peaceful eye of the storm being unlimitedly blessed by Sri Sri Radha and Krishna

Our minds become attracted to so many people on TV and in the media; in that sense, we may feel that we are giving love to them, but we do not actually receive any love in return—just as with AI. But Śrī Kṛṣṇa is emanating love. How can I receive that love?

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
