Are You Ever-Increasingly Happy?

December 22, 2025

In this material world we experience happy and distress. Sometimes we are happy. Sometimes we are stressed out. But this is not actual happiness. This is called relative happiness. Relative happiness is not genuine happiness. Real happiness can only be tasted, experienced on the spiritual platform, the transcendental platform when we re-establish our lost loving relationship with Krishna. When we come to this platform, we will experience ever-increasing happiness at every moment for all of eternity.

By seriously taking to the process of Krishna consciousness, it is sure and certain that someday we will achieve the platform of unadulterated, ever-increasing happiness.

Some people say, "Service to man is service to God".

Can you please comment something on this, Guru Maharaj?

My Dear Gaurav,
Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.

“Service to man is service to God” is like saying that you can feed your belly by squeezing the food in your fingers. This statement is backwards. The proper statement is “Service to God is service to man,” because when you feed your belly, every part of your body becomes nourished.

I hope this meets you in the best of health and in a cheerful mood.

Your ever well-wisher,
Sankarshan Das

How I Came to Krishna Consciousness

In a world obsessed with money, fame, and fleeting pleasures—leading nowhere but to the grave or the crematorium—I walked away. Life felt so meaningless, I couldn’t stand it. This is the true story of how I turned my back on the American materialistic dream and discovered something far greater: Krishna consciousness. A gripping journey of inner revolution and a call to awaken a world civilization on the edge of collapse.
