Throw Away Your Chains and Become Liberated

You are an eternal associate of the Lord in His transcendental pastimes in the spiritual world. But due to a misuse of your tiny independence you have now fallen into the hellish cycle of birth and death here in this material world where you have been transmigrating repeatedly through the 8,400,000 species foolishly trying to squeeze some enjoyment out of that place where there is no enjoyment. Therefore it is time now that you come back to your senses realizing that you are not your body, that instead you are the all-blissful, full-of-knowledge, eternal servant of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Sri Krishna and that you return to that wonderful, ecstatic relationship you once enjoyed with that most amazing Krishna in His unlimitedly splendorous divine lila or pastimes.

I have been chanting Hare Krishna for more than 6 months. But until today I don't really get happiness. Why is this?

Answer: Because You Try to Get Happiness

You are not getting happiness because you are trying to get happiness. Instead of trying to get happiness you should be trying to give happiness to Krishna by a sincere mood of love and devotion to Him. When you sincerely try to please the Lord in this way you will joyfully discover that you are swimming in an ocean of unlimited happiness.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
