Jhulana Yatra--Radha Krishna Swing Ceremony

This is a very special time of the year. Today we begin Jhulana-yatra, the swing ceremony of Sri Sri Radha and Krishna. It is a most delightful festival. For several days every evening we will take our Radha and Damodar deities off the altar and swing them on a beautifully decorated swing along with melodious kirtan. In this way we will remember the wonderful swing pastimes of Radha and Krishna while at the same time giving them the pleasure of a swing ride. Check with your nearest ISKCON to see if they are also celebrating Juliana Yatra. If you are in central Texas, please join us Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings from 6pm to 730pm for Juliana Yatra at 10700 Jonwood Way in Austin, Texas.
