Krishna Is Never Defeated
Krishna is the Supreme Controller. Everything is going on under the influence of His material and spiritual energies. Therefore it is not possible for Him to ever be defeated. Just as Krishna is never defeated, in a similar way any government which is Krishna conscious will never be defeated. In this connection Srila Prabhupada explains as follows in His purport to Srimad Bhagavatam 6.7.24:
"If a government worships the brahmanas, the cows and Krishna, Govinda, it is never defeated anywhere; otherwise it must always be defeated and condemned everywhere. At the present moment, all over the world, governments have no respect for brahmanas, cows and Govinda, and consequently there are chaotic conditions all over the world. "
If the world leaders will take advantage of the sublime teachings of Krishna, global peace, prosperity, and happiness will be the immediate worldwide result. Therefore out of compassion upon them we must try to somehow or convince them the government leaders that Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and we are all His eternal servants.

Question: Should We Practice Karma Yoga or Bhakti Yoga?
Hare Krishna Guru Maharaja,
Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
My question is:
What is the essential difference between karma-yoga and bhakti-yoga? Should we practice karma-yoga, or bhakti-yoga, or both of the yogas?
Kindly clarify my doubts.
Your servant,
Sushant K.
Answer: Bhakti Yoga
In this connection Srila Prabhupada describes as follows in his purport to Bhagavad-gita 10.10:
"When a person knows the goal of life but is addicted to the fruits of activities, he is acting in karma-yoga. When he knows that the goal is Krishna but he takes pleasure in mental speculations to understand Krishna, he is acting in jnana-yoga. And when he knows the goal and seeks Krishna completely in Krishna consciousness and devotional service, he is acting in bhakti-yoga, or buddhi-yoga, which is the complete yoga. This complete yoga is the highest perfectional stage of life."
It is clear from Srila Prabhupada's above instruction that we should practice bhakti yoga, not karma yoga. Karma yoga is a beginning phase for those who are not yet ready to come to the stage of bhakti so that they can begin the process of self-realization and gradually come to the perfectional stage of bhakti yoga.
