Who Should Seek a Bona Fide Spiritual Master?

Bonafide

In the Srimad Bhagavatam 11.3.21 we learn who should seek a bona fide spiritual master. It does not mention those who are after having their material desires being fulfilled. Here's what is stated:

tasmād guruṁ prapadyeta
jijñāsuḥ śreya uttamam
śābde pare ca niṣṇātaṁ
brahmaṇy upaśamāśrayam

Therefore any person who seriously desires real happiness must seek a bona fide spiritual master and take shelter of him by initiation. The qualification of the bona fide guru is that he has realized the conclusions of the scriptures by deliberation and is able to convince others of these conclusions. Such great personalities, who have taken shelter of the Supreme Godhead, leaving aside all material considerations, should be understood to be bona fide spiritual masters.

Previously, in my pursuit of self-realization, I was misguided by so many so-called gurus who were simply bogus. It was not until I found a bona fide spiritual master, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, that I found real happiness. Thus I encourage everyone to follow the teadhings of Srila Prabhupada. Your life will be sublime!

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee.
