"Cheaters and the Cheated"

Srila Prabhupada told us this:

My Guru Mahārāja once said, "The modern world is a society of the cheaters and the cheated." Unfortunately, the cheated are eulogizing the cheaters, and the small cheaters are worshiping the great cheaters. Suppose a flock of asses comes and eulogizes me, saying, "Oh, you are Jagad-guru." What is the value of their praise? But if a gentleman or learned man gives praise, his words have some value. Generally, however, the persons who are praising and those who are being praised are both ignorant. As the Vedas put it, saṁstutaḥ puruṣaḥ paśuḥ: "A big animal is being praised by a small animal."

So we should not be cheated by the cheaters who tell us that everything came out of nothing or from an exploding chunk.

I am deeply grateful for your guidance and mercy upon us disciples. Lately, a question has been stirring in my heart that I wish to ask you with sincerity:

How much does Krishna love us?

We often hear that Krishna’s love is unlimited and unconditional, but I long to understand this more deeply. How can we truly experience and realize the vastness of Krishna’s love in our daily lives, beyond just words? How do we, as His devotees, open our hearts fully to receive that love and respond to it with devotion?

Your blessings and insights on this will help me strengthen my faith and deepen my relationship with Krishna.

Thank you, Guru Maharaj, for patiently guiding us on this eternal path of bhakti.

All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.

Krishna loves us unlimitedly. We will experience His love proportionately according to how much we give our love to Him. That love is awakened by following the regulative principles of Krishna consciousness: Chanting at least 16 rounds of Hare Krishna japa mala daily and strictly avoiding illicit sex, intoxication, meat eating, and gambling.

I hope this meets you in the best of health and in a cheerful mood.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
