Radharani's Singing Melts the Stones

Normally to melt stones we have to heat them in a furnace from 1,300–2,400 degrees Fahrenheit. But because of her intense love for Krishna, Rādhārāṇī was able to melt stones simply by singing. She had no need to take the help of a furnace. This is described very nicely by Srila Prabhupada as follows in his book, The Nectar of Devotion:

One gopī informed Kṛṣṇa that when Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī was singing about His glories, She enchanted all of Her friends in such a way that they became stonelike and dull. At the same time, the nearby stones began to melt away in ecstatic love.

This means that the stones in Goloka Vrindavan are not inantimate. They are devotees who relish serving Radha and Krishna in śānta-rasa, the rasa of neutrality.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me.
