Can a Lame Man Cross Over a Mountain?

Is it possible for a lame man to cross over a mountain and for a dumb man (a person who cannot speak) to become an eloquent speaker? Yes, it is possible by taking shelter of a bona fide spiritual master. The following verse confirms this:

mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ
paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim
yat-kṛpā tam ahaṁ vande
śrī-guruṁ dīna-tāraṇam
(from the Bhāvārtha-dīpikā commentary on SB 1.1.1)

SYNONYMS

mūkam—a person who cannot speak; karoti—makes; vācālam—an eloquent speaker; paṅgum—a person who cannot even walk; laṅghayate—causes to cross over; girim—the mountain; yat-kṛpā—whose mercy; tam—unto Him; aham—I; vande—offer obeisances; śrī-guruṁ—(my) spiritual master; dīna—the fallen/poor; tāraṇam—delivers

TRANSLATION

I offer my respectful obeisances unto my spiritual master, the deliverer of the fallen souls, whose mercy turns the dumb man into an eloquent speaker and enables a lame man to cross over a mountain.

I was blessed with this greatest of all opportunities. Srila Prabhupada accepted me as his disciple on 17 August 1971. There is a photograph of my initiation ceremony given below.

I am personally experiencing the truth of this verse. Even though I had no ability to give lectures, now I am giving well received lectures all over the world. And even though I was recently totally lame, confined to a bed, now I can take long walks without the use of a cane.

Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Is someone asks me to prove to them that Australia is real I will tell them to get an airline ticket and fly there. In this way they will see that it is real.

So in the same way you can be convinced that the spiritual world is real. The ticket to get there is full surrender to Krishna. Are you willing to purchase this ticket for the price of your love?

How can I prove that a person has different names? When you meet him you can ask him. So purchase your ticket to the spiritual world. You can then meet Krishna and ask Him.
He will tell you.

And by the way, kindly note that Jesus is not God. He never claimed to be God. He is the son of God.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee.
