Taste the Unsurpassable Treat
Even though hedonistic activities can give us a quick thrill, it is better to avoid them because they keep us caught up in a false sense of bodily identification and thus lead nowhere except to darkness and death. It is better to forego these cheap pleasures and pursue the topmost pleasure, which is many times more enlivening than hedonistic pleasure. That topmost pleasure is reconnecting with the Supreme Lord, the source of all existence, through the process known as Krishna consciousness. The pleasure one can derive from Krishna consciousness is ultimately millions and billions times greater than the pleasure of hedonism.
