You Conquer Over Death
3 February 2025
You have been suffering in the cycle of repeated birth, death, old age, and disease since time immemorial. But there is no reason for you to continue suffering in this way. In this regard our most beloved Lord Sri Krishna states as follows in Bhagavad-gita 8.16:ā-brahma-bhuvanāl lokāḥ
punar āvartino 'rjuna
mām upetya tu kaunteya
punar janma na vidyate
"From the highest planet in the material world down to the lowest, all are places of misery wherein repeated birth and death take place. But one who attains to My abode, O son of Kuntī, never takes birth again."
The method conquer over death by attaining His abode is to fully surrender unto Him according to the guidance of the bonafide spiritual master. It was my unlimited good fortune that His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada accepted me as his duly initiated disciple on 12 August 1971 in a letter wrote from London to Austin, Texas.
In this connection Srila Prabhupada has stated that one's deathlessness begins from the day of one's initiation. But this applies only to those who follow their initiation vows. Others who disobey their spiritual master have sadly and foolishly thrown away their immortality.

Hare Krishna Srila Gurudev,Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to you and Srila Prabhupada.
Dear Gurudev, I heard from few of my relatives that they can see God through the idol God winks at them they tell me, but I used to think only pure Vaishnavas or pure devotees of the lord can see Him as He reveals himself only to them.
But here I see some.people who haven't even chanted, just do few artis and tell me God talks and they see God smiling through the idol, however I never felt that because I am not pure.
I used to think we have to sacrifice and fight with our material senses and only when we become pure God reveals himself to us but some people without much efforts are able to see God's movements in the idol.
Please help me understand. Please forgive me for any offences against your Lotus feet.
Your most fallen servant,
Jahanvi
My Dear Jahanvi,
Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Krishna in His form of the deity can speak to His pure devotees but He does not speak to the non-devotees.
Prabhupada stated: "He does not talk with nonsense.
He talks, but not with the nonsense."
I hope this meets you in the best of health.
Your ever well-wisher,
Sankarshan Das Adhikari
