Beautiful Full Moon in Vrindavan

On 11 February at 4am when I was walking from our quarters at the MVT to attend another super ecstatic mangala arati at Srila Prabhupada's samadhi I was very pleased to view a beautiful full moon enriching the night sky and beaming down on Vrindavan. This immediately brought to my mind this wonderful verse from the Bhagavad-gita. I uttered it aloud to my disciple, Vraja Kishore das, who was walking with me:

prabhāsmi śaśi-sūryayoḥ

"I am the light of the sun and the moon," (Bg 7.8)

Then this brought to my mind another wonderful, enlightening verse:

yo māṁ paśyati sarvatra
sarvaṁ ca mayi paśyati
tasyāhaṁ na praṇaśyāmi
sa ca me na praṇaśyati

"For one who sees Me everywhere and sees everything in Me, I am never lost, nor is he ever lost to Me." (Bg 6.30)

And then while walking within the temple compound on my way to Srila Prabhupada's samadhi I was appreciating how Krishna is directly everywhere. Also at this time I couldn't help from being amused by the voidists who proudly declare that nothing exists. The very fact that the word "nothing" is also something immediately defeats their bogus philosophy.

The conclusion is that we should constantly, boldly, and ecstatically move forward step by step on our pathway to pure love of Godhead and for delivering all the fallen, suffering souls in this material world back to their original home in that always brilliantly illuminated spiritual sky.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me.
