Here's My Spiritual Path in a Nutshell

As an American youth I was taught to believe in the. "American dream": Study hard, get a good education and a good job to get a good wife some good kids in a good house to enjoy a good life. But when I got to college I realized that this was not enough. I wanted to know what is the meaning of life, but no one could tell me. So I took to the path of self-realization and was blessed in 1968 with the Hare Krishna mantra and the worship of Radha and Krishna. (I did not know about ISKCON at that time.) This inspired me to drop out of college and renounce the world to become a holy beggar in India. But on the way to India I realized that to renounce everything I had to ultimately renounce renunciation itself and accept something transcendental Thus I embraced the mission of delivering the world from chaos. For this purpose in 1969 I adopted the life of singer/songwriter who became recognized and much adored. In 1971, seeking spiritual perfection, I followed the example of Lord Jesus Christ and prayed to God how I could become His perfect servant. Then God revealed to me path of pure Krishna bhakti as taught by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami. On the most auspicious day of 12 August 1971 he accepted me as his disciple. Now on his order and under his most expert guidance I have fully devoted my life for awakening pure love of God within my heart and for making the entire world Krishna conscious.

Dear Srila Gurudev!
Hare Krishna
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
All glories to you!

Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet, I hope you're doing well and your south India tour is going well.
My question was whether I can preach and to what extent am I allowed to preach? Am I allowed to give classes? Can I represent Srila Prabhupada's movement?
Secondly, how can I surrender at your lotus feet? What can I do to make you and Guru Mataji happy as a student?

My Dear Ishaan,

Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

If you know that Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and that we are all His eternal servants you now have sufficient knowledge to preach to the entire human society both through one-on-one preaching and lecturing. In our temples you should hear the
classes of the senior devotees. But in the outside
world you can give millions of classes guiding
the fallen, conditioned souls how to go back to
home, back to Godhead.

Surrender to the bona fide spiritual master means
to take is instructions as your very life and soul.
The first thing is that you should be chanting at
least 16 rounds of Hare Krishna japa mala daily
along with the strict avoidance of illicit sex, meat
eating, intoxication, and gambling.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
