Rise Beyond the Clouds of Illusion

On 29 January 2025 Guru Mataji and I headed out on a visit to Sri Vrindavan Dhama, the most holy abode of Lord Sri Krishna that He has most mercifully manifested on this planet for our purification and spiritual perfection. The day we headed out was a most dreary, rainy day. But as I very happily observed as the airplane gradually went to a higher and higher altitude, the dreary, rainy day transformed into beautiful, sunny day. For those under the clouds it remained a dreary day. But for those above the clouds it was most splendidly gorgeous day.

This is immediately reminded me of the transcendental knowledge we have received by the mercy of Srila Prabhupada and Lord Sri Krishna. Those who misidentify with their material bodies and are thus trying be the lords and enjoyers of this material world are trapped under the clouds of illusion and are thus suffering unlimitedly in the cycle repeated birth and death. But those who take advantage of the mercy of guru and Krishna for reviving their dormant Krishna consciousness are taking off on the airplane of the Hare Krishna mantra, which elevates them beyond the realm of unlimited miseries into the ecstatic dimension of eternity, knowledge, and immeasurable bliss where they enjoy forever in loving relationships with Lord Sri Krishna and His pure devotees.

So if you find yourself still suffering from the pangs of birth, death, old age, and disease just get yourself on this Hare Krishna airplane right now. It is guaranteed not to crash.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
