Nothing is Sweeter than Hare Krishna Japa

In this world we are trying to enjoy in so many ways: having sex, getting intoxicated, accumulating money, becoming famous, becoming powerful, etc, etc. But no matter how much we try to enjoy in these ways the end result is that we end up being frustrated and dissatisfied. But if instead of seeking the material pleasures we will dive deep into the ocean of Krishna's holy names we will taste unlimited, ever-increasing bliss. This is why it is stated by Srila Rupa Goswami:

tuṇḍe tāṇḍavinī ratiṁ vitanute tuṇḍāvalī-labdhaye
karṇa-kroḍa-kaḍambinī ghaṭayate karṇārbudebhyaḥ spṛhām
cetaḥ-prāṅgaṇa-saṅginī vijayate sarvendriyāṇāṁ kṛtiṁ
no jāne janitā kiyadbhir amṛtaiḥ kṛṣṇeti varṇa-dvayī

”I do not know how much nectar the two syllables ’Kṛṣ-ṇa’ have produced. When the holy name of Kṛṣṇa is chanted, it appears to dance within the mouth. We then desire many, many mouths. When that name enters the holes of the ears, we desire many millions of ears. And when the holy name dances in the courtyard of the heart, it conquers the activities of the mind, and therefore all the senses become inert.”

So let us take full of advantage of Krishna's holy names and dive deep, deep into the nectarean of ocean of Krishna' holy names.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me.
