More Stimulating than Sexual Orgasm
After reaching puberty lust is something that each and every one of us has to deal with in such a way that we not the slaves of lust. This is because if we remain under the control of lust we descend from the human platform, which is meant for self-realization, down to the animal platform thus qualifying ourselves to descend to the animal kingdom in our next births. In the Bhagavad-gita Chapter 3, Verse 37 Lord Sri Krishna mercifully warms against this:
śrī-bhagavān uvāca
kāma eṣa krodha eṣa
rajo-guṇa-samudbhavaḥ
mahāśano mahā-pāpmā
viddhy enam iha vairiṇam
"The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: It is lust only, Arjuna, which is born of contact with the material mode of passion and later transformed into wrath, and which is the all-devouring sinful enemy of this world."
However lust can easily be conquered simply by taking complete shelter of Lord Sri Krishna's holy names:
Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare
Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare
This is because if we sincerely chant these names every day around the chanting beads, which is called "japa", we can experience a thrill more stimulating and exciting than the pleasure of a sexual orgasm. In this connection it can said, "Who needs a penny when you are a billionaire?' In this way, those who regularly and sincerely chant japa can easily give up sex engaging in it only for the purpose of procreation, not for recreation.

After reading today's 'Thought for the Day', I want your guidance. I don't want to make the same mistake that a girl from India has made. I feel very sorry for her and also wish that may that person marries her and may they become devotees...
Honestly speaking I have many lusty thoughts (I don't want to satisfy them by coming into any kind of illicit relationships). But as lusty desires are so powerful so I don't want to fall into this condition in future...
Actually, some months ago I was in a relationship with a boy, I thought him to be good. But I just made the mistake and came to know later that he just wants to satisfy his lusty desires. ( I didn't let him to do it. Thanks to Krishna and Prabhupada that I was saved). Although knowing that no one in this world loves us unconditionally, still because I was selfish I came into relationship with him. But after one month I realized that he just wants to satisfy his desires. So I broke up with him and now I am very determined not to come into relationship with him again. But he is so bad, I blocked him in whatsapp. I blocked him everywhere possible. But still I want to know how can I be protected from that person. He is such a bad. Only talking with him diverts me from my path. And I was about to do that mistake. Because I am not talking with him so I am relieved. But there are many boys in my college who keeps on proposing me. And disturbing me. Please give me solution that how can I get rid of such bad association. How can I change my self? What change should I bring in myself so that I can become stronger?
Also I have lusty thoughts so much. I want to get rid of this impurity. Please help, O Dear Gurudeva. I hate this situation. I always make the mistake to see porn again even after knowing so much about it. This is so yuck! But there are some situations when I just cannot control myself. I just want to become a good devotee and don't want to do do anything that will make ISKCON infamous. ISKCON is such a respectable society. I don't want to do any mistake. Please kindly help.
