Around-the-World Lecture Tour



Today Gurumataji and I are heading out on an around-the-world lecture tour. This planet Earth is desperately in need of Krishna consciousness. Our entire global population is suffering greatly because they are not connected with Krishna. Therefore we want to help them by making them Krishna conscious. Respected Sir, you say that for 10 thousand years the whole world in this age of Kali will be Krishna conscious. But the scriptures also say that as this age progresses people will become more and more ignorant and passionate. How is this possible then that the whole world will be Krishna conscious? In this age of Kali people are refusing to hear this knowledge. Sometimes even when I talk to my friends about Krishna consciousness it they are very reluctant to listen. They don’t want to hear anything about self realisation. Please guide me accordingly.

It is predicted in the Brahma-vaivarta Purana 4.129.59:

kaler dasa-sahasrāni
madbhaktāh samti bhu-tale
ekavarnā bhavisyamti
madbhakteṣu gatesu ca

"For 10,000 years of Kali such devotees of Mine will fill the whole planet. After the departure of My devotees there will be only one varna [outcaste]."

That 10,000 period has begun with the advent of Lord Caitanya 500 years ago. So now, even though it is the Kali Yuga, for the next 9,500 years this Krishna consciousness movement will grow and grow until the whole world becomes Krishna conscious. What could be more exciting and thrilling
than to be a member of the Krishna consciousness movement at this most opportune time in history?

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
