Don't Be a Fish Out of the Water
We are all eternal, ever-youthful spiritual beings by nature. Thus to be in this material atmosphere of birth, death, old age, and disease is a completely artificial atmosphere. This can rightly be compared to being a fish out of the water. What is the hope for such a fish? He cannot swim across the land to get back in the water. His good fortune will be if some kind soul picks him up and tosses him back into the water. For us poor souls who are entrapped in the material existence that kind soul is the devotee of the Lord who so kindly, so lovingly reconnects us with our beloved Lord Sri Krishna so that we can return to our original home in the spiritual world.
