The Ecstasy of Feeling Separation from Krishna

Feeling separation from Krishna Lord Caitanya prays as follows: "O Govinda! Feeling Your separation, I am considering a moment to be like twelve years or more. Tears are flowing from my eyes like torrents of rain, and I am feeling all vacant in the world in Your absence."

After hearing that Krishna consciousness is the supreme ecstasy and reading the above prayer we may find this to be contradictory, but actually it is not. When one is separated from one's beloved, the intensity of his love is greatly magnified. Thus when a devotee feels separation from Krishna or God his loving feelings are greatly enhanced. And since true spiritual bliss is experienced proportionately according to the intensity of love manifested in the one's heart, when one's heart is pierced by the pangs of separation from Krishna he enters into the highest state of spiritual bliss.

Question: Where Did We Originate?

Please accept my humble obeisances.
I have read your book uttama bhakti, but I have a doubt:

Did the the living beings in this world previously have a loving relationship with Krishna in the spiritual world and somehow fell down into material existence in which they have forgotten their loving relationship with Krishna? Or were they always in the material world and they have to now develop love of Krishna so that they are qualified to enter His transcendental abode for the first time.

Each of us we were originally with Krishna as one of His eternal associates. But due to misuse of our free will we ended here in this nasty place futilely trying to enjoy separately from Krishna. Now have to revive our original relationship with Him by following the teachings of the Bhagavad-gita under the guidance of the bona fide spiritual master.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. Who is this Krishna?

Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth. He is all-attractive because he exceeds everyone in all of existence by possessing unlimitedly all the qualities that are attractive namely power, beautify, renunciation, knowledge, wealth, and fame.
