His Transcendental Form is Full of Bliss, Truth, and Substatiality

Who could be more amazing than Krishna? He is most wonderfully described by Lord Brahma as follows:
aṅgāni yasya sakalendriya-vṛtti-manti
paśyanti pānti kalayanti ciraṁ jaganti
ānanda-cinmaya-sad-ujjvala-vigrahasya
govindam ādi-puruṣaṁ tam ahaṁ bhajāmi

"I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, whose transcendental form is full of bliss, truth, substantiality and is thus full of the most dazzling splendor. Each of the limbs of that transcendental figure possesses in Himself, the full-fledged functions of all the organs, and eternally sees, maintains and manifests the infinite universes, both spiritual and mundane."

The beauty of Krishna consciousness is that when you realize Krishna you realize everything. Therefore those who are actually intelligent focus as much of their energy as possible for realizing Krishna and perfecting their eternal relationship with Him as His servant.

Question: Whose Devotee Should I Be?

​​​​​​​Hi. I have two questions. First, in the Thought for the Day emails you often say that we need to be the devotee of the devotee of the Lord Krishna. Who would that be for me? Second, I would like to be able to associate with Krishna devotees, but I live 350 miles from the nearest ISKCON center. What do you suggest for me?

Answer: You Can Be My Devotee

If you will always carefully follow my instructions and inquire from me for clarification of how to do so, you will be associating with me within you heart at every minute. In this way you will also be following Lord Sri Krishna’s order to become the devotee of His devotee. So you can be my devotee.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. Who is this Krishna?

Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth. He is all-attractive because he exceeds everyone in all of existence by possessing unlimitedly all the qualities that are attractive namely power, beautify, renunciation, knowledge, wealth, and fame.
