Training an Agency of the Mauritius Government

On 13 December 2012 I was the guest speaker at Enterprise Mauritius, a Mauritius government agency responsible for facilitating and increasing the nation's export business. I was received very nicely with a first class flower garland as an honored speaker who could provide valuable insights on individual and departmental improvement. This is quite auspicious if any representative of the Krishna consciousness movement can be received in this way because this is our actual role as brahmanas, to guide everyone in every facet of the society how to be peaceful, prosperous, and make their lives perfect. In a non-sectarian way I explained how serving the Supreme Person bestows the highest benefit upon everyone. I quoted the concluding verse of the Bhagavad-gita to point out how by putting God in the center everything comes out wonderfully:

yatra yogeśvaraḥ kṛṣṇo
yatra pārtho dhanur-dharaḥ
tatra śrīr vijayo bhūtir
dhruvā nītir matir mama

"Wherever there is Krishna, the master of all mystics, and wherever there is Arjuna, the supreme archer, there will also certainly be opulence, victory, extraordinary power, and morality. That is my opinion."--Bhagavad-gita 18.78

It's a fact that if we put Krishna or God in the center our lives will become most auspicious.

Just as the sun is one place but yet is spread everywhere in the form of the sunshine, God is in one place but is present everywhere in the form of His expanded energy.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. Who is this Krishna?

Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
