We Abhor the Senseless Massacre of Children

The whole world is in shock at the senseless massacre of 20 young children several days ago at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newton, Connecticut USA. To cruelly end a young child's life is an act of the most heinous brutality. How has human society stooped so low that such things can occur? It staggers the imagination to consider how degraded we have become. What is even more shocking is that 1.4 million innocent children are murdered every year by abortion in the USA and that most people, the US government, and the US president think it is okay. It's time that all citizens receive the equal protection of the law, including those who are still living within their mother's womb.

Question: Does Krishna Will that Children Be Killed?

You are currently travelling so I am not sure if You have heard of the sad news of the Newtown, Connecticut elementary school shooting that killed 26 people (mainly children). I was posed with a question from a friend at my college about this. He asked, "Why would Krishna let this happen?" I really could not answer because I thought the idea of karma might be too harsh to say. So I just said everything is Krishna's will and we should remember not to get upset with Krishna.

Answer: Krishna Wills that Everyone is Happy

Senseless killing of innocent children is not Krishna’s will either in the elementary schools or in the abortion clinics. The entire world has plunged into a chaotic condition because people are not living in accordance with Krishna’s will. Therefore we are trying to educate the entire world to understand the Bhagavad-gita as it is. If people would live according to Krishna’s will, this planet would become a paradise.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee.
