For a Devotee Death Means Rejuvenation
In this material world everyone is afraid of death. But for a person who dedicates his life fully to Krishna there is nothing at all to be feared from death. For the devotee death is rejuvenation. Even if he has a slight tinge of material desire, he will get a brand new material body to serve Krishna with better facility in this world in his next life, or if he has become 100% pure, he will get an eternally youthful spiritual body with unlimited facility for serving Krishna in the spiritual world.
If my wife and I find out that we're incapable of having children does this mean our marriage is worthless? Do we have the option of staying married provided we become celibate? I know that you are married. Are you currently trying to have children? What gives your marriage such validity?

I don't say that I am a bona fide spiritual master. I am simply the humble servant of my spiritual master entrusted with the duty of making his teachings known to the world. I am purely representing Srila Prabhupada's position on gay marriage. You may agree or disagree, but you should understand that I am purely representing my spiritual master. Srila Prabhupada many times criticized gay marriage. Here are three examples:
"The homosexual appetite of a man for another man is demoniac and is not for any sane male in the ordinary course of life."
--from Srila Prabhupada's purport to SB 3.20.26
"They are encouraging homosex, giving man-to-man marriage. You know that? This is going on. Doing everything nonsense."
--from a conversation in Mumbai, India-- April 28, 1977, Bombay
"The priests are sermonizing on this idea of man-to-man marriage. Just see how degraded they have become. Previously was there any conception like this, at least outside America? Nobody thought that a man could be married to another man. What is this? And the priests are supporting it."
--from a conversation--June 11, 1974, Paris
Regarding a married man and woman, Prabhupada taught us that a married couple is not obliged to have children. So there is nothing wrong for a married couple to stay together even if they are celibate. Instead of producing children they can expand the family of Vaisnavas by preaching.
The bottom line is the gay marriage legitimatizes gay sex, which is illegitimate because it cannot produce children. Therefore we are opposed to gay marriage. By taking this position are purely representing our spiritual master's position.

Question: Does Prabhupada Criticize Gay Marriage?
You recently addressed the question of why do we not support gay marriage by answering that gay marriage promotes illicit sex. You have routinely said that as a "bona fide spiritual master" you neither embellish nor add to nor subtract from the Vedic teachings as you were guided through them by your guru. You have routinely said that your opinion does not matter. So please explain where in Prabhupada's books or the Vedic teachings that it says anything about gay marriage and how such a marriage differs from a heterosexual marriage. If my wife and I find out that we're incapable of having children does this mean our marriage is worthless? Do we have the option of staying married provided we become celibate? I know that you are married. Are you currently trying to have children? What gives your marriage such validity?
