A Culture Where the Mother is Most Sacred

In the Vedic culture the mother is most sacred. The original mother is Srimati Radharani, the hladini shakti or ecstatic potency of Krishna. Mother Radharani is so worshipable that before we chant Krishna's name we call out first to Mother Radharani by uttering "Hare." Not only is Radharani sacred. All women are considered sacred and are thus given the highest respect by being addressed as "Mataji" or "Mother." Nowadays in the material society women are encouraged to go half-naked on the streets so that men can lust over their bodies. But in the Vedic culture all women except one's wife are addressed as mother, thus placing them off limits as objects of sense gratification. After all, no decent human being would even entertain the thought of having sex with his mother. Such a practice may be considered archaic or draconian by a society where woman are treated as prostitutes and killing babies is considered as inconsequential as blowing mucus out of one's nose.

Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada and to you.

What is meant by the statement that Krishna is absolute?

Regards,
Saswata

Answer: Things Related to Him are Nondifferent

Absolute means that Krishna's name, form, place, dress, pastimes and everything else related to him are all nondifferent from Him.
