The Perfection of Religion

I've taken seriously to the essence of all spiritual paths (both Eastern and Western). Religion is actually one because there is only one source for all of existence. Therefore, the perfection of religion is to live in a state of perfect harmony with that one source of all existence. By careful analysis it can be concluded that the one source of existence must indeed be a person and must necessarily be the Supreme Person. So to come into a state of pure loving relationship with that Supreme Person is the perfection of religion. This is the science of religion and it applies equally to Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, etc.

Answer: Sixteen Rounds of Japa and Avoiding Sin

I am very happy that you want to become initiated. According to the great authoritative text on Krishna bhakti, the Nectar of Devotion, by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhuapda, initiation is a prerequisite for one to be fully accepted by Krishna as His devotee and to thus become qualified to regain one’s original position in the spiritual world at the time of leaving his present material body.

The qualifications for being initiated are that one must be solidly fixed in chanting at least 16 rounds of the Hare Krishna mahamantra every day on japa beads along with the strict avoidance of illicit sex, meat eating, intoxication, and gambling. I will initiate as my disciple anyone who meets these qualifications, and by so doing will accept the full responsibility for delivering that disciple back to home, back to Godhead by properly training them in the science of bhakti.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
