Bring Bhakti Candidates to Your Spiritual Master

When one is training people in Krishna conscious he naturally and very joyfully brings them to his spiritual master for further training. In this regard Srila Prabhupada instructed us in a lecture given on 6 April 1975 in Mayapur that it is the duty of the disciple to bring the people that he is training in Krishna consciousness to his spiritual master. He cautioned that to not do so is a violation of etiquette, an insult to the spiritual master, which will destroy one's spiritual life. So the disciple must be always very careful to observe this etiquette.

Question: What Happens When a Person Dies?

When a person dies what happens to the soul? Where does it go? The soul can't be created and destroyed? If it's transferred to another body, do karmic reactions get transferred? Since a person has a soul, do his karmic reactions of having done good or bad affect him?

Answer: He Gets Another Body According to His Karma

Upon leaving his present body at the time of the death the eternal soul, which has always existed and is never destroyed, is transferred into another body. His karmic reactions go with him. For example, if he was sinful, his karma will be that he becomes an animal in his next birth.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
