The Absolute Necessity of Initiation

When one takes to the path of bhakti, in order to get its result of pure love of God initiation by the bona fide spiritual master is required. In support of this point Srila Prabhupada quotes from the Hari-bhakti-vilasa (2.6) and (2.10) as follows:

adīkṣitasya vāmoru kṛtaṁ sarvaṁ nirarthakam
paśu-yonim avāpnoti dīkṣā-virahito janaḥ

"Unless one is initiated by a bona fide spiritual master, all his devotional activities are useless. A person who is not properly initiated can descend again into the animal species."

ato guruṁ praṇamyaivaṁ sarva-svaṁ vinivedya ca
gṛhṇīyād vaiṣṇavaṁ mantraṁ dīkṣā-pūrvaṁ vidhānataḥ

"It is the duty of every human being to surrender to a bona fide spiritual master. Giving him everything--body, mind and intelligence--one must take Vaisnava initiation from him."

In light of above we can see the fallacy of thinking that one can attain the spiritual world at the time of death without taking initiation. The conclusion is that initiation is compulsory for all those persons who want to attain the goal of the human form of life, developing pure love for Lord Sri Krishna.

There is no other God than Jesus.

Answer: That is Not the Conclusion of the Bible

I encourage you to read your Bible instead of assuming things on the basis of sentiment. In your Bible in Mark 16.19 it is stated, "He ascended into heaven and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty." So it is very clear that besides Jesus there is also his father who is God the Father Almighty. We are very happy that you are so devoted to Jesus Christ. We wish that there were more people like you. We are also devoted to him and accept him as our savior. But we would request that you kindly do not make a bad name for Christianity by stating things in the name of Jesus which are against the teachings of the Bible.
