Take the World by Storm

What the world desperately needs now more than ever is powerful leadership to fill the present humongous leadership vacuum which is destroying the human society. It's very sad to say that none of our current day leaders are competent to give proper leadership to anyone. Proper leadership means to guide one's dependents how to become free from the cycle of birth and death. It's no wonder that we see ever-increasing chaos enveloping this planet. The world's most urgent and burning need is a leader or a group of leaders who can by enlightened, perfect, pure guidance and spotless behavior inspire and educate the mass population for achieving the actual purpose of the human form of life, which is to awaken the dormant love of God sleeping within one's heart and to thus become fully qualified for going back to home, back to Godhead. May such leadership now become manifest on this planet and take the world by storm.

Newton's third law of motion says that to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. This is similar to karma and its effect. Does chanting of the Hare Krishna mahamantra have the power to mitigate the bad reactions of our past actions?

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
