Book Distribution Heroine in South America

I wanted to share with my readers the glories of one of my disciples from South America. Her name is Madhumati Devi Dasi, a single woman from Peru. One of her most outstanding qualities is her dedication to distributing Srila Prabhupada's books. She regularly travels in South America and Central America to fully absorb herself in the most auspicious activity of selling Srila Prabhupada's books to as many people as possible every day. She often does this on a full time basis joyfully accepting the many austerities of traveling and preaching, finding the greatest happiness in sharing Krishna with the suffering people of this world. It is very rare to find a soul in this world who is so totally devoted to helping others to become happy. I have been greatly blessed by Lord Sri Krishna that He has sent me a disciple as Madhumati Devi Dasi.

Complaint: You Should Not Have Used the Word "Rascal"

Guruji,

I am too small to suggest anything to you. And I not sure how you will receive it. In a recent question/answer on the Bhagavad-Gita you have used the word, "rascal", which should be avoided. Better words chosen will elevate wisdom and Krishna consciousness. Maybe you were angry and that caused you to use that strong word. If am wrong in my express, please forgive me.

Answer: Krishna Uses It. We Are Just His Messengers.

Since Krishna has labeled the non-devotees as rascals it is our duty is to carry the message of Krishna exactly how He spoke it. Thus it is our duty to speak the truth that the non-devotees are rascals. If we were to change the words of Krishna, this would be an act of irreligion. A messenger must always faithfully repeat the words of his master without addition or subtraction.

This has nothing to do with anger. It is a factual statement, just like the judge may factually rule that a man is guilty of being a criminal, and the reporter then broadcasts without anger the judge's verdict to the people in general.

If we don't like to hear these words of Krishna, it is because we are ourselves rascals and do not want to be exposed.

Rascal means one who does what should not be done. Therefore you are, in a roundabout way, calling me a rascal for using the word rascal.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. Who is this Krishna?

Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
