Urgent Appeal to the World Leaders
My dear esteemed leaders of the world society. Kindly note that all desirable conditions for the happy living of all the world's citizens, even the animals, can easily be had by the regular, widespread performance of yajna or sacrifice for the satisfaction of the Supreme Lord. Such performance of yajna is not a sectarian affair of favoring one religion over another. It is the universal system for bringing all favorable conditions of living to everyone all over the world. As the prescribed yajna for this age is the sankirtana yajna, the congregation chanting of they holy names of God, kindly introduce the performance of sankirtana yajna to your respective citizens. Each government should organize regular daily congregational chanting functions throughout their country so that each and every citizen will have the opportunity to participate in the congregational chanting of the holy names of God on a regular daily basis. At such functions there should be profuse distribution of vegetarian foodstuffs which have been offered to the Lord with love and devotion. In this way there will no question of starvation for any person anywhere in the world. Such regular performance of sankirtan yajna will create a peaceful atmosphere all over the world. It will bring sufficient supply of clean water and nutritious, delicious food for all living beings as well as successful industrial enterprise and economic prosperity for every nation throughout the world.

A disciple asked him, "I think that in the past you've said each cell contains a distinct and individual soul."
Srila Prabhupada replied, "Yes, I said that."
So it is a fact that when you engage in devotional service you are greatly benefitting the trillions of souls that are residing within your body.

Question: Each Cell Has a Separate Soul?
I have a query based on a recent interesting question by Sanjeev. In reply to his question on whether there is only one soul in the body or does every cell have an individual soul, you wrote that there is an individual spirit-soul in each and every cell of the body but there is one soul who predominates over the body. I am confused here, does this mean every cell in a living entity has its own separate soul? If this is so, then this changes completely how I view other peoples' and my body, meaning that actually my soul is 'in charge' of trillions of other individual souls and that I should be careful how I am using my body as I am responsible for so many other souls within me!Many thanks always and forever for your valuable time serving everyone.
