En Route to Sri Vrindavan Dham
After many months of separation we are returning now to Sri Vrindavan Dham, the transcendental home of Lord Sri Krishna within this material world. Visiting Sri Vrindavan Dham is always the most uplifting and purifying experience. Krishna is personally present in this holiest of all places. And if one manifests sufficient devotion, he can feel Krishna's presence in Vrindavan at every step.
Kesighata on the River Yamuna in Vrindavan Dham,
Kindly Please accept my most humble obeisances at your lotus feet.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
All glories to Gauranga Mahaprabhu.
All glories to Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha & Krishna.
Early this morning, I was reading Sri Caitanya Caritamrita Madhya-Lila, wherein I was most surprised to read certain Bengali slokas (chapter 17, verses 199 to 206). Srila Prabhupada describes Lord Caitanya's prema-lila in His Vrindavan with trees, creepers, birds, deer, etc. Here are some of the verses:
śuka, pika, bhṛṅga prabhure dekhi’ ‘pañcama’ gāya
śikhi-gaṇa nṛtya kari’ prabhu-āge yāya
"Bumblebees and birds like the parrot and cuckoo all began to sing loudly on the fifth note, and the peacocks began to dance in front of the Lord."
sthāvara-jaṅgama mili’ kare kṛṣṇa-dhvani
prabhura gambhīra-svare yena prati-dhvani
"All moving and nonmoving creatures then began to vibrate the transcendental sound of Hare Krishna, as if they were echoing the deep sound of Caitanya Mahaprabhu."
śuka-śārikā prabhura hāte uḍi’ paḍe
prabhuke śunāñā kṛṣṇera guṇa-śloka paḍe
"Both parrots flew onto the hand of the Lord and began to chant the transcendental qualities of Krishna, and the Lord listened to them."
saundaryaṁ lalanāli-dhairya-dalanaṁ līlā ramā-stambhinī
vīryaṁ kandukitādri-varyam amalāḥ pāre-parārdhaṁ guṇāḥ
śīlaṁ sarva-janānurañjanam aho yasyāyam asmat-prabhur
viśvaṁ viśva-janīna-kīrtir avatāt kṛṣṇo jagan-mohanaḥ
"The male parrot sang, 'The glorification of Lord Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, is beneficial to everyone in the universe. His beauty is victorious over the gopis of Vrindavan, and it subdues their patience. His pastimes astound the goddess of fortune, and His bodily strength turns Govardhan Hill into a small toy like a ball. His spotless qualities are unlimited, and His behavior satisfies everyone. Lord Krishna is attractive to everyone. Oh, may our Lord maintain the whole universe!'"
śuka-mukhe śuni’ tabe kṛṣṇera varṇana
śārikā paḍaye tabe rādhikā-varṇana
"After hearing this description of Lord Krishna from the male parrot, the female parrot began to recite a description of Srimati Radharani."
vaṁśī-dhārī jagan-nārī-
citta-hārī sa śārike
vihārī gopa-nārībhir
jīyān madana-mohanaḥ
"The male parrot then said, 'My dear shari [female parrot], Sri Krishna carries a flute and enchants the hearts of all women throughout the universe. He is specifically the enjoyer of the beautiful gopis, and He is the enchanter of Cupid also. Let Him be glorified!'”
rādhā-saṅge yadā bhāti
tadā ‘madana-mohanaḥ’
anyathā viśva-moho ‘pi
svayaṁ ‘madana-mohitaḥ’
"The female parrot said, 'When Lord Sri Krishna is with Radharani, He is the enchanter of Cupid; otherwise, when He is alone, He Himself is enchanted by erotic feelings even though He enchants the whole universe.'”
My question is this:
Can birds like the male and female parrot really speak/sing Sanskrit verses in praise of Lord Krishna? For an average man it is very difficult to sing in Sanskrit. It is unbelievable and inconceivable to my mind. However, since it is described by Srila Prabhupada and Srila Krishnadas Kaviraj themselves, I must have full faith in their words/writings that cannot be wrong at all! My hearts accepts this, but my mind keeps doubting again and again. What should I do when I am so perplexed ?
Please save me!

Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
The male and female parrots are great devotees who have taken the form of parrots to serve the Lord in that particular way. Tell your mind to be still and simply absorb itself in the sublime name, fame, forms, pastimes, entourage, paraphernalia, etc. of the inconceivably amazing Lord Sri Krishna. Instead of being bewildered by the nectarean pastimes of the Lord and His devotees, you should simply relish the nectar by drinking it deeply into the innermost regions of your heart. In this way you will eventually become spiritually perfect and will be able to personally witness such amazing pastimes of the Lord with His devotees first hand with your own spiritually perfect eyes and ears.
