You Must Do These Three Things

Srila Prabhupada explains in his book The Nectar of Devotion that Srila Rupa Goswami teaches that to advance in Krishna consciousness these three things are most vital: Accepting the shelter of a bona fide spiritual master
Taking initiation from him
Serving him with respect and reverence

Without following these above-mentioned three principles, one cannot properly elevate himself to the platform of sādhana-bhakti, or devotional service in practice. Sometimes we hear a bogus philosophy that initiation by the bona fide spiritual master is not required. But this is not in accord with what has been to us by Srila Prabhupada and Srila Rupa Goswami.

Sometimes I cry a lot while chanting 
I don’t know why but feels like I am just wasting my life and I am cheater not using my time in KC properly while normally I am very different person and anxious person and I don’t have any such big attachment to spritual life it’s just that I fear losing devotees association and don’t want to commit any apradh against Sri Guru Gaurang or vaishnavas.

Srila Gurudev please help me understand this duality of my mind
Neither it is in KC fully nor it is in materialistic

The mind is always unsteady, like a naughty child running here and thee causing havoc in the house. The intelligence
is like the mother guiding the child how to properly behave.
So you must come the the platform of the intelligence by always thinking, speaking, and acting in a way that is pleasing to Krishna. What pleases Him can be learned by carefully studying the Bhagavad-gita.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
