Of course such sincere devotees think themselves to be lower than the straw in the street and thus do not desire any honor and prestige for themselves. What they desire more than anything else is to please Lord Caitanya. By dedicating themselves to pushing forward His movement for the deliverance of the world they give Him the greatest pleasure. Thus they embrace His world deliverance mission with great determination, enthusiasm and patience.

My Dear Jahanvi,

All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Srila Prabhupada writes as follows

in his book, The Teachings of Lord Caitanya:

"There are ten kinds of offenses in the matter of chanting the holy name: (1) to blaspheme a devotee of the Lord, (2) to consider the Lord and the demigods on the same level or to think there are many gods, (3) to neglect the orders of the spiritual master, (4) to minimize the authority of the scriptures (the Vedas), (5) to interpret the holy names of God, (6) to commit sins on the strength of chanting, (7) to instruct the glories of the Lord's names to the unfaithful, (8) to compare the chanting of the holy name to material piety, (9) to be inattentive while chanting the holy name, an (10) to remain attached to material things in spite of chanting the holy names. These ten offenses against the holy name should be avoided.”

By carefully avoiding these offenses you will become a pure chanter of the Lord’s holy names.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
