Flip the Switch that Brightens Everything Everywhere

Just imagine the convenience of having one switch in your house that turns on the all the lights in your house. And just image the greater convenience of having one switch that brightens everything throughout all of existence. Srila Prabhupada describes that one switch in his book, The Nectar of Devotion. Here's what he has written:

"The Nectar of Devotion will teach us how to turn the one switch that will immediately brighten everything, everywhere. One who does not know this method is missing the point of life."

Here's how to flip on that most wondrous switch. Chant Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare / Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare.

I would like to ask you one question which bothers me: Is the number of jivas (living entities) limited or unlimited? Can you give me reference in the Vedic scriptures?

All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Since Krishna desires to enjoy an unlimited number of loving relationships and since He certainly has to capacity to do so, He emanates from Himself an unlimited number
of living entities in order to be able to do that.

This is confirmed in Srimad Bhagavatam, Third Canto, Chapter 6, Text 8 as follows:

eṣa hy aśeṣa-sattvānām
ātmāṁśaḥ paramātmanaḥ
ādyo 'vatāro yatrāsau
bhūta-grāmo vibhāvyate

"The gigantic universal form of the Supreme Lord is the first incarnation and plenary portion of the Supersoul. That universal form is the Self of an unlimited number of living entities, and in Him rests the aggregate creation, which thus flourishes."

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
