Does Might Make Right?

We have seen in the modern day many politicians have a total disregard for moral principles. Their agenda is to somehow get into a position of political power by hook or by crook. And once they get that position whatever serves their selfish, greedy desires is considered to be right. And whatever stands in the way of fulfilling their selfish, greedy desires is wrong. Thus it is an extremely sad state of affairs in this wicked age of Kali. The only way to counteract this is the wide scale spreading of the Krishna consciousness movement. There is no other hope for the rapidly deteriorating human society. Instead of "might makes right" it should be "right makes might." In other words real power or might will come when we do the right thing of following the instructions given by Lord Krishna in the Bhagavad-gita.

God is one. There is no such thing as a Hindu God, an Islamic God, a Christian God, or a Jewish God. If you awaken your love for God you will immediately become the best Hindu, the best Muslim ,the best Christian, the best Jew, etc. The way to awaken your dormant love for God is to always remember Him and to never forget Him. And the easiest way to that is to chant His holy names as much as possible every day.Any name can be chanted. But especially powerful is the Hare Krishna mantra:

Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna
Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare
Hare Rama, Hare Rama
Rama Rama, Hare Hare

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
