What to Do in Times of Trouble?

We live in this material world, which is the world of dualities. Sometimes everything is going nicely and sometimes we find ourselves in a nightmare. How do we remain equipoised while we are being buffeted on this material in the waves of dualities? This is the great challenge we face. It is easy to say the solution, which is take complete shelter of Krishna, but to fully situated in this consciousness when all hell breaks loose in our life is another matter. To come to this position requires steady faith and practice in the liberating process of Krishna consciousness. We have to dive into deeply into Krishna consciousness on a regular daily basis. We have to make it our habit to always take complete shelter of Krishna in all times, places, and circumstances. We have to be steady in all situations of happiness and distress, pain and please, honor and dishonor etc. On the surface of the ocean the waves are constantly going up and down. But deep within the ocean the ups and downs found on the surface of the ocean are no longer experienced. By taking complete shelter of guru and Krishna we situate ourselves deep within the ocean in a state of pure, unadulterated transcendental bliss. That's where we need to be. And that's where we always should be.

I have been on your email list for a very long time. I am also an avid reader of your email newsletter. In the past I was able to read all of the email, few months ago however, only a part of the email would be visible and a link appeared at the bottom asking us to click on it to read the whole email.

Now for the past few days, I can’t read anything when I open the email. It simply shows a link asking us to click on it to read the email newsletter.

Can you not make the email small enough without all the bugginess and make it simple for readers like me?

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
