Brutal Murder of Devotee Relatives in South Africa

We have just the received the shocking new that three relatives (two adults and a child) of some of our devotees in our Pretoria temple we were found bound, gagged, and burned to death in a grassy field near here. This is a stark reminder of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur's pronouncement that this material world is not fit place for a gentleman's living. How could someone be so demoniac to commit such ghastly violence against other human beings? It is unthinkable, but yet such things are happening every day on this planet with the permission of our grossly ignorant government leaders. We can understand that such atrocities are fully in the tune with the present day zeitgeist when we remember that we are living in global culture whose governments condone the murders of 66 thousand innocent babies every day in the abortion clinics and 156 million innocent animals every day in the slaughter houses.

So, it's time for a drastic change. We need to bring sanity back to the human civilization. Lord Krishna, please help us to bring everyone back to you.

The more you give Krishna, the more you get Krishna. So if you will as much as possible share whatever you have realized about Krishna with the illusioned suffering souls of this world, He will bless with more and more realizations about Him. Indeed, He will give Himself to you.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
